I think I can officially say that I’ve found my holy grail skincare product. I love it so much that it got its own blog post.
I might be jinxing it, but this product seriously WORKS. And the ingredients are on point.
Since I’m finally coming to the end of my AIP protocol detox phase and starting to deal with the remaining hyperpigmentation and scaring that my inflamation has left behind on my skin, I needed a product to help fix this.
I first heard about Egyptian Magic on Shutthekaleup’s instagram stories, when she used it on her son’s eczema and it seemed to work wonders. But since I don’t struggle with that issue, I didn’t think much of it.
However, I recently saw KGMTL mention it in her stories as an overall skincare product – and she talked about it being especially good for scarring. So now I needed to try it!
This product is made of literally any bee-related ingredient you could think of (sorry vegans 🙊). It has royal jelly, honey, beeswax, and a few others. I had already read about honey being amazing for the skin several times in the past, so this product made so much sense to me.
It has a balm consistency, and when you rub it you get like an oil, which you then rub on whatever you need to heal. It fixes any irritation you might have on your skin, so it’s good not only for acne scars, but also any cuts or scrapes, eczema, rashes, etc. Since it works to repair cuts, it works best on fresh scars rather than a scar you might have from years ago. But that’s perfect for me, since I am only now beginning to heal my scars.
Like I said before, this thing WORKS. If I pop a pimple (oops) or it just pops by itself while I’m exfoliating or washing my face, I rub this product over the scar and the next day it’s literally gone. I feel like it’s also been helping to clear up hyperpigmentation! I’ve been using Egyptian Magic all over my face at night as my moisturizer for almost 3 weeks now and have noticed a major difference.
I am not at all sponsored by them, I just genuinely love this balm and need to put it out there that everyone should try it!
Let me know what your holy grail skincare product is, because I’m always looking for new stuff to try out!
